Become a Vendor of Choice
Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor of choice with the Dade County Medical Association (DCMA). The DCMA Board of Directors asks that companies requesting a vendor of choice designation establish an advertising relationship with DCMA for a minimum of one year through the DCMA monthly publication, Miami Medicine and avail themselves of at least one sponsorship opportunity. Sponsorship opportunities include the DCMA Annual Presidential Installation Banquet, Doctors' Day Event, CME Seminars, meetings, or other activity. Enclosed are lists of advertising and sponsorship opportunities.
Once the advertising/sponsorship relationship has been established, the process for requesting vendor of choice status is to provide a brief, one-page, summary (you may include additional handouts/brochures that provide more detailed information) to be taken before the Executive Committee for review. The summary must include the following information:
1. Product/Service description
2. Benefit to DCMA member physicians
3. Benefit to DCMA
4. Brief company history
5. Desired sponsorship level (see application)
6. References from medical field (especially local physicians)
The Executive Committee will review your information and determine whether to designate your company as a vendor of choice. Should further information be required, such as a personal interview or presentation, you will be invited to visit an Executive Committee meeting. The final decision is up to the Board of Directors.
